I never knew that The Shins had an appearance on Gilmore Girls. And, yet, here I am watching the spring break episode—season 4, disc 5, episode 1—and there are The Shins, a former favorite band of mine. This is also the episode where Paris lays one on Rory just to get into the spring break thing. Yep—it just happened. Ha. Classic.

Down to business. I’m changing my major. I finally decided that it’s not worth it to pick a major soley based on its earning potential. Accounting is out. I’m calling OSU tomorrow to get things changed to communication. New classes, a new adviser, new classmates—I need this.

It just kind of sucks that I wasted a whole year pursing something I have no interest in. I got an econ minor—I guess that’s something. But, other than that, I have nothing to show for last year. But I guess I don’t care. I’m finally doing what I want to do, even if I have no idea what I’m going to end up doing with it. I just need to do it.

So I’ll have to let you know what it’s like doing a complete 180 after your freshman year. That should make a good adventure.
