M.I.A-Spring Quarter Edition
Yes.
I know.
It's been a while since I've graced this blog with my keen insight, dazzling intellect, and aptitude for self reflection (ok, ok, I AM getting a head of myself here! But only a little. :D) The point is, I haven't been blogging often and that's not good (Bad blogger, bad!). But now with spring quarter's inevitable (and much appreciated) end, I can kick up my feet, take a sip of Red Bull (or any other beverage with an energizing component) and type away in the comfort of my very own space.
Even though its been a couple of days since my departure from OSU, I am still in a bit of shock that my first year as a Buckeye is over. Gone are the days living on the I-House floor of Morrison(where International and American kids have crazy fun), the late night visits, food raiding unsuspecting friends, late night excursions to Steak 'N' Shake with my boyfriend, have pants that appear freshly urinated after emerging from the dish room in the basement of Kennedy Commons...and--sigh. There is just too much and not enough time (or space) to say it all.
OSU is a place that things, big and small, can happen. It's an institution where there are so many opportunities to explore--whether it's academically, culturally, socially, spiritually, and even personally. But, alas, college my friend, isn't all rainbows and lollipops. There were times that I felt like shouting "Dear God in Heaven Above, what is going on!!!" This usually happened right before trying to write the closing paragraph with no brain cells functioning. BUT college is what you make of it. You could be at one of the greatest universities on Earth (like the Ohio State University) and still have to an experience akin living under a rock for 9 months. When I came, I had the intention to get as muchout of OSU that I could. I figured, I'm spending money to come here, I might as well get my hands dirty. And dirtied them I did, and I have no intentions of washing them any time soon (Figuratively, of course. That's gross!)
