***Yawn***

Please excuse me; it’s been a very long day. I woke up at a grueling 6:30 AM after falling asleep somewhere after one (BIG mistake). My staff members, Hall Director and Assistant Hall Director in our super-official staff room to have our meeting.

It was fun.

We were getting ready for move-in day. Move-In Day! I still can’t believe a year has passed since I moved in as a freshman. And today I was confronted with throngs of parents and students--all of them excited, nervous, and maybe a little bit frustrated as they began moving into our hall.

Because I was tired, I tried my hardest to stay animated, friendly, and knowledgeable, although at times I felt like none of the above. When I wasn't in the hallway (which, at times, looked like a disaster area) schmoozing with my parents and their parents/family, I was in my room watching Beauty and the Geek on the MTV.

I was too tired to change the channel.

After Move-In Day finally ended, my boyfriend came over and we watched tv. Because my boyfriend, Chris, was an Owl today, for the past week of R.A. training, I have had the luxury of seeing my boyfriend (long distance relationships are also fun).

Well, I must be off (I have my first floor meeting with my residents) and I should prepare. Wish me luck!
