Ok, now that that is out of my system, let me proceed to tell you in the calmest manner possible for a borderline hysterical college student about my finals week. Now, it's not just the tests that are the issue--most often than not (especially last year) it's not really an issue at all. In fact, especially for freshmen, we have a tendency freak out even we have the exam in the bag (because of course we're all pretty much geniuses). And stress is not exactly the best study buddy to have while pouring text books and notes.

For me, Finals week means waiting TWICE as long at Marketplace because half the population of Ohio State wants to blow the 34 swipes they somehow managed to hoard throughout the quarter. Finals week also means heighten levels of crankiness that can unleash a wrath from the sweetest of friends on your poor hopeless soul. And the packing. Let's not forget the packing.

However, Finals week isn't totally bad. In fact, a lot of good can come out of it. It means having a little extra cash after swelling your books (or saving them for a nice celebratory bonfire with your friends back home). It means realizing that you'll be able to hang out with your family and friends back home, earn some extra or take a trip some where in exchange for a few tests (nice trade off, eh?). And of course, last but not least, it means blowing the 34 swipes you somehow managed to hoard during throughout quarter. :D.
