Teenagedom: The Last Weekend
January 28th is my birthday. Isn't that exciting? It's also kind of weird because when I was a kid I would wait for it with anticipation, counting off the days and thinking that the days wouldn't past fast enough. And now that I'm about to turn 20, a part of me wishes that they would slow down a bit.
But at the same time, a part of me also thinks that turning 20 will push me even harder to reach my goals because I'm one step closer towards becoming an adult. I will always be a kid at heart for sure (I'm the type of girl who wouldn't mind watching Saturday morning cartoons or playing with silly putty), however, being 20 means that I have to start seriously looking at what I want to do with my life. I'm in the big leagues now.
Since my birthday is this Monday, I have been calling this weekend my "Birthday Weekend Celebration Extravaganza". And it's been great so far. Tonight my boyfriend and I are going to Cazuela's, which is a really cool authentic Mexican restaurant nearby. And Urban Outfitters (of course). Goodbye Teenagedom! :D.
