As an Resident Advisor like myself, you have a lot of responsibilities with your role. One of the most time consuming and challenging is putting on the very programs that residents enjoy. Today I met with my Resident Advisor shadows who are getting a taste of program planning is all about. I am essentially their "go to person" when they stumble into roadblocks with programming and I also help faciliate them as they fulfill the different aspects of putting on hall events.

This evening they interviewed me (I know, I do still feel a bit vain about that)! That was weird only because I remembered being in their shoes a year before. The questions they asked made me realize how I have grown in this job and how much I really like it--despite the frustrations and stress that I have experienced. My shadows and I are putting on a program next week that basically consists of ice cream and study tips. Hopefully it will go well!
