Oh (Bad) Weather, Where Art Thou?
Let me just first say that today's weather was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It was hot but not too hot, with the right amount of breeze. It's officially skirt season! I pulled out an army print, tiered skirt with a white shirt and gold hoop earrings. Now, I'm not Sarah Jessica Parker but I think that I looked good enough to prance on the streets of Manhattan myself. Yes, I knew today was going to be a good day.
I overslept and I was supposed to go to Kennedy Commons, one of OSU'S dining services with one my staff members, Melissa. On any given Saturday or Sunday morning/early afternoon, you'll find the Commons packed with people scrambling over eggs (no pun intended) and other brunch delicacies. Luckily I had a lunch date with my boyfriend and his parents, so my stomach wasn't that disappointing.
We went a barbeque restaurant named Hoagy's to celebrate the birthday of my boyfriend's mother (she didn't tell me her age) and it was quite nice. I haven't been had barbeque in a while, so it was a nice change for my palate. I had pulled pork (yum!).
