First Day Worst Day

I just started Summer school yesterday and it has had its good and bad already. It's like I moved out of the dorms the other day, and then I had to unpack it all just to pack it back up again in 5 weeks! I opted to do 1st term Summer classes because l did not want to be in school till Aug. 23. The summer would almost be over by then, and l need a break.
The only down side to taking 1st term courses is that many classes are not even offered and the pace goes rather fast in class. It hasn't been that bad yet, especially since there are not whole bunch of people on campus and no activities so NO DISTRACTIONS! And l certainly don't need any. I'm trying to knock out these 3 classes and then head on home till September.

Another con is that I have the same classes everyday for 2 hours! My day starts at 9:00am and doesn't end till 3:18pm. I feel like l'm back in high school with the super long days.
At least l get to stay in Worthington, the upperclassmen dorm. My roommate is really cool and so is the girl in the other room (since it's 2 to a room and 2 rooms with a living room and kitchen) and 1 girl didn't even show up so more room for us. They are pretty quiet and go to bed at a reasonable hour. Who could ask for more?
Oh and the lines at Market Place are inexistent, and the grocery items are fully stocked and food is made in a jiffy. The inconvenience is that it's just about the only place to eat and it closes early.

Surprisingly, Summer classes at OSU isn't a ghost town as everyone proclaimed it would be. Although the campus is definitely uncrowded, a lot of people are actually taking classes. It is definitely the way to go if you need a distraction-free environment.
And there is so much construction going on along with all the youth summer camps and orientation groups that the campus is alive and loud.
Well, let me get to all my readings........only 23 more days of class, the countdown begins!
