Thankful
I finally got all my winter clothes in and summer/spring clothes out of my room. It took like 4 loads and a couple trips to my car. Normally, I would make this transition earlier but it took so long for it to get cold. Now I have my big coats, scarves, and sweaters in position, instead of having tank tops and flip flops out reminding me of warmer days. I had to get all that summer wear out because my little room cannot hold all my clothes and shoes so something has to go to storage! It won't be long before I'll be bringing it all right back out for Spring.
I also organized all the Newspaper articles I wrote this quarter. I save about 3 copies of the Lantern for each article, so that was a lot of papers in my room! I cut them out so that I can have all my clips together to take on job interviews even though I'm not looking for a job in Print Journalism, you never know what might happen!
My mom and my middle sister drove up to Ohio for Thanksgiving and we spent it in Hudson, Ohio (near Cleveland and Kent) with my Aunt and her family. So it was a typical Turkey Day spending time with the fam and eating too much food! It snowed up there though, and I understand what my friends from Cleveland mean when they say it's significantly colder than Columbus.
I was relieved to have one last Monday Bible Study, especially since for our last one we have a Finals Prayer and Game Night. So not much planning had to be done other than getting food, and my sister really stepped in and helped out since this is the group she started anyway. I was able to get the games from the SOURCE in the Ohio Union, and they had a lot to choose from, but I just went with UNO, Connect 4, and Checkers and we started off the night with a little Bible Bingo.

My friend Sie'ara and I are too excited for the Holidays!
We had an End of the Quarter Concert for Gospel Choir. This was a great chance for people to see all that African American Voices has worked on thus far. My family was able to come out and me sing since they were still in town. You'll find that it can be hard for your parents to know when to leave you at College. I'm a Junior and my mom still likes to stay around campus for extended visits. I can understand it though because it's not like she lives so close by that she can check up on me any time she wants.
