Spring Classes back in session
I sooooooo did not want to get up for class this morning. Why did we have start the day after Easter anyway? I was on the first flight back to Columbus when I could've been spending the day with my family. But it worked out though since my sister picked me up and we went to church together and everything. There were actually 2 girls I knew from Ohio State on my plane. One was a freshmen that is an Alumni Association Scholar with me and the other was a Senior I just met in Baggage Claim that's actually roommates with one of my friends. Small world, I find Georgia people that go to OSU all the time!
Can't believe the break is really over. I just ended up going to Six Flags, Cafe Dupri (Rapper,Producer Jermaine Dupri's restaurant www.cafedupriatl.com) and the Dentist office! But it was nice, especially since I didn't need a coat the whole time and basked in the glorious Atlanta sunshine!
Thankfully, it was not too cold when I got back to Ohio. I struggled getting up for my 9:30 class. I kept saying, "It's the 1st day, why don't you just go on Wednesday?", but I'm glad I'll talked myself out of that becuase my class was a little intense for the first day. It's Hebrew 370, a General Elective course that I always wanted to take since all you need is your Bible for the textbook! My professor lectured for the full 2-hours and announced the quiz we would have on Wednesday. So much for starting off light and easy!
But at least it's my only class of Monday and Wednesdays so I can devote the rest of my day to working on news stories and preparing Bible study lessons.
Tomorrow I will have a Sociology 488 class which goes over all Sociological Theories and is required for the minor. I will also be back in The Lantern class so get ready to see a lot more articles coming from me! I actually have two conference calls this week and am getting started on knocking out my 14 stories right away.
