My last summer break
Of course it's nice to be back at home for a couple weeks, what was even nicer was that the new OSUnity Magazinecame out, and I was able to pick up some copies before I got on the road. We started working on it in April, and low and behold, it was out by Summer. The Office of Minority Affairs had been working on getting this diversity magazine out since about my freshman year, so it was no surprise that they used a cover picture from my first year. I feel so famous!!!

The hot 1st new issue of OSUnity, featuring yours truly and my Russell Simmons story
While I was back home, I didn't do too much besides getting with family and friends and my much needed rest from those late nights at the news station. I was excited to finally go to the Georgia Aquarium. It opened in 2005 and it's the largest in the world. I had biology professors at Ohio State telling me about so I knew I had to check it out myself. And it was rather impressive. I saw more fish than I had ever imagined and I got to touch the sting rays and baby sharks, but with caution of course. It took us a good 2 hours to get through it all!
Here I am the Georgia Aquarium becoming one with the fish
The huge and pretty Whale shark and a nice orange Octopus
The enormously big Beluga Whale on his backside and a pretty large Crab
The beautifully colored Sea Urchin and a smooth Crocodile calmly relaxing on a rock
A little Shrimp by himself and a yellow Sea Turtle flying through the water
A Star Fish chilling on the side and a puffed up Blowfish trying to give me a kiss!
