to sign or not to sign
So Thanksgiving's done (at least it will be once the leftover turkey's gone) and it's full speed ahead towards Christmas (or whatever holiday you celebrate). I spent the whole week at my place in Cincinnati, my agenda being Christmas shopping, early morning and late night runs to work, driving the kids around, and finally seeing some old friends---and not thinking about classes once. I gotta say it's kinda nice. Can't wait until winter break.
Next week holds about a month's worth of studying and paper writing--and I'm sure I'm not the only one. But after that I'm headin back here to Cinci--I only have one exam the week after at 7:30 Monday morning then I'm hittin the highway for a month of needed break (despite the fact that I'm technically still on break while writing this...).
After break, though, winter season also brings up a whole new set of problems known to some who live off campus--the dreaded "do I sign the lease again or not?" question. My deal is that I'm graduating early--before the end of next year and already have a good job lined up in Cincinnati, meaning I'll only need a place to live in Columbus for a few months. But the lease where I'm living now is a 12 month lease (which me and my housemates need to resign--or not--in January), and I'm wondering if I could even find someone halfway through the year who wants to sublet. It looks like wherever I turn I'll have to give up at least a few months rent when I move back to Cincinnati. On the bright side...there's a whole month of break before I have to decide whether or not to sign!
