I have been silent, please blame the vampires

Photobucket

I cannot stop reading this series.
Never in my life would I ever think that books about vampires would be interesting.
But these books keep me on the edge of my seat
I literally cannot stop reading. AHHHHHH

Jazzing up Dublin, PA

On Sunday my friend Mark and I got to the Dublin Arts Festival ready to play some sweet jazz. It was cute little town with an even cuter little arts festival going on. There were arts and crafts, entertainment, and food everywhere. It was pretty cute and i was very nervous. Our set was an hour long with no breaks. After we began my nerves went away and the audience got bigger. It was a fun little gig and I hope that we left a good impression on the people. I love jazz because Joe Hesh (professor) has written songs with amazing messages and I hope that when we play people with hear Gods word through our songs.

babies make everyone smile

This summer I had the privilege of getting back in touch
with one of my old friends. I basically would go to her house
almost everyday after work and just vent about my day or just relax with her family.
Hanging out this summer brought us so close again to what we once were
and because she was having a baby I got to share in the excitement of that.
From the baby shower to her stressing over what the baby was going to be named
I got to be there for all of it. And I'm so glad.
So Tuesday Sept 9th Adriana was born all cute and smiley.
This weekend I finally got to see her and she was worth the wait.
I'm so proud of my friend Magan and all that she's done and continues to do
I know she'll be a great mother. :)

A real update

OK!
Let me fill you in on everything that's going on. For the most part I love all of my classes. My professors are so wise and I feel honored to get to sit in their classes. Jazz Ensemble has started up again and I'm still the only singer. Our first gig is the 21st in Dublin PA. I'm kind of nervous about the first performance of the year haha. Also, this semester I'm in the opera workshop and I'm singing "on the steps of the palace" from into the woods!! I'll post more about that later.
So my schedule is pretty tight plus I have work and I've gotta fit a ministry in there somewhere

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
