Hey, I’m Tyler, a Pastoral Major from Glen Mills, PA. I graduate in May and leave for the Army June 25, 2009. I have recently become addicted to rock climbing, and I have always been addicted to rock crawling in my Jeep.

way too busy

Sorry for the lack of posting but life has been way too busy. With youth group, 4x4 ministry, the 29 Ford build and working on the competition Jeep I have had no free time to relax yet! I hope to have it soon! I hope everyone is having a great break and a merry Christmas! I am heading out tomorrow morning at 5am for two days of 4x4 adventure at Rausch Creek with my 4x4 ministry.

On Sunday I will be backpacking all day through the Pocono Mountains which should be loads of fun. I will try and get some pictures and post them up for you. I hope your all staying safe and healthy. God Bless!

FINALS ARE OVER!!! YIPPEEEE!!!

So, as stated in the Title or subject line FINALS ARE OVER!!! YIPPEEEE!!!

My last full semester of classes are over! Only one more semester left with 6 credits (two classes) and then I am off to the Army in June. It has been a REALLY fast semester I flew by. As I sit and reflect in Panera Bread waiting to leave for youth group... I have decided that yes, yes, it has been rather quick.

But because this will be my first time not over-whelmed with classes and work I have decided to take on something to over-whelm me. I will be trying to teach myself Arabic. Carly is also attempting this so that I have some sort of competition which makes me try a lot harder. This should be an exciting or at the very least interesting semester.

Oh, and if you are thinking about going to the mall after Sunday service two weeks before Christmas to get some things for the youth group... DONT DO IT! STAY AWAY! ITS PACKED! 8 minutes... 10 minutes! standing in a line... that was 10 minutes of my life I stood behind a large gentleman trying to distinguish whether he showered that morning or he just got back from a hard workout of standing on the escalator.

Well I am off to youth group now so I hope you all have an amazing Christmas and I will be posting again, fear not my faithful followers. If you are in need of answers and cannot find it on this page then seek the 8 ball oracle. Give it a shake, ask a question and it will appear in the bottom. haha

Pictures as I promised

Wow, okay, so Army lost... they were destroyed in fact which is a huge bummer but there will always be next year. My brother and I got there earlier enough to see the parade, the sky divers, and IT WAS AMAZING! Air Force 1 buzzed the stadium! Then an F-14 Squadron buzzed us and then two black haws and two Apache helicopters buzzed the stadium, it was the most awesome thing I have ever seen.

Anyways, here are two pictures of the Naval Academy in formation and the Military Academy in formation. It was incredibly moving during the National Anthem to see them saluting the flag not moving an inch. Not a word was said in the stadium as every hat came off and every hand covered their heart or saluted the flag.

President Bush was also there and I was only 50 ft from him, it was amazing, he got a standing ovation which I firmly believe that he deserves.

Go Army Beat Navy!

So, wow, okay, what an awesome day today. My brother dropped me a call to let me know that one of the guys he works with had tickets to the Army Navy game but wasn't going to be able to go so he gave them to my brother. I AM GOING TO THE ARMY NAVY GAME ON SATURDAY! AWESOME!

I am so excited, I will be bringing my camera and posting some pictures. My Dad was in the Navy during Vietnam and has been supporting Navy football beating Army for some time. This year it is different because I am sworn into the Army. We have a steak riding on the game, not a stake but loser buys winner a steak.

GO ARMY BEAT NAVY!

Crazy Sky

Wow check out this sky Carly and I saw while driving. Luckily I had my trusty camera. It wasn't the normal reds and yellows but was crazy blues and grays. It was pretty awesome to say the least.
