I Can't Believe It's February

So it really struck me the other day that I am in my second semester at college! Holy cow, that went by relly quickly, I have to say. How is it that today is already February 11th!?

This week is going to be really crazy, too. A prospective student/ROTC cadet is coming to stay with me, so I am excited to show her all that PC has to offer and all the cool things we do in ROTC.

I have a Civ paper due Wednesday that I may or may not have started...
ha...
...REALLY hope my seminar professor isn't reading this...

I am pretty well on top of the rest of my work, though. I'm a little ahead in my English and Political Science class readings, though I've yet to figure out what I am going to do my Poli Sci research project on (and, to make myself sound even more organized (ha), the bibliography is due Friday).

Despite my recent and uncharacteristic time management issues, I will still be making time to go Build a Bear tomorrow--how could I pass it up when my inner child can be appeased for a mere $3?

Also, my neighbor is being serenaded on Wednesday night for Valentine's Day and I plan to be there to hear it. I'll update later on which group did it because the name escapes me right now...

On Thursday, I'll probably go make a valentine in Slavin...

AND SATURDAY IS THE BIG ONE:

MILITARY BALL!

Just think: In exactly a week, I'll be able to report back with all the fabulous details!

To say that I am excited would be quite the understatement :)

The Latest

So yesterday was Ash Wednesday, which was, of course, well observed here at PC. There was no meat in the cafeteria, which I thought was really conveniant because then I didn't have to sit there and go, "Hmm...what's left?"
Another great conveniance was that I still was able to receive my ashes despite my ridiculously busy Wednesday schedule. There were many masses during the day that I could attend and one of the friars even came to my dorm. He gave a very interesting talk about why we receive ashes, don't eat meat, and sacrifice things for lent, and then he distributed ashes to everyone there. The whole thing was great and I really enjoyed it.

Sorry for the short post but I don't want to be late for Civ...
Have a good day!

Busy

Hey, all, sorry for the delay! Things have been so busy around here, lately! I don't have any major projects, but I have some upcoming papers so I'm running around trying to get a lot of little things done before the wave hits. There are lots of meetings to attend lately, some paperwork to get signed in this building, and turned in in another building, etc... There is always lots of reading for homework, so it's a test of time management to get all of it done.

Also, pretty soon everyone's going to have to decide their living arrangements for next year. I'll probably get the official deadline at the floor meeting tomorrow. Whatever it is, I already know what I'm doing, thank goodness!
More on all that later :)

So I actually should run; I have to be at work in a bit and I have some things to quickly finish up before I head out.
