As we all know this past Tuesday was the 2008 Presidential Election, which happened to also be the first election in which I got to participate in as a young woman of voting age! On Tuesday night, my dad picked me up at school and we took the 25 minute ride back to my hometown where we both filled out our ballots! Then as I was leaving, the lady at the door handed me my "I voted today," sticker and I thought it was so cool. I could finally vote and more importantly I took advantage of my ability to vote!

On an academic note, we got our midterm grades this week and my classes are looking good! We are also getting ready to register for classes next semester! I cannot believe I am almost through one semester of college, it is crazy! I decided that I will remain undeclared for the rest of the year; however spring semester, I am going to take an education class, to test the waters and see if I like it..I still really have no idea what I want to do, but hey...I don't need to know quite yet!
