« Merry Christmas! | Main | Friar Fanatics »

Back to the swing of things!

So I cannot believe that I am halfway done my freshman year and I am sure that all of you high school seniors out there cannot believe you are getting all these letters back and now have to decide! Let me tell you the time flies so fast!

Overall my first semester was amazing: great friends, roommate, classes and final grades! I ended up with a 3.7 for the semester, so I went home happy! Now it’s round two and I am so glad to be back here. I came to get my books for my second semester classes on Friday with my boyfriend Gary and I forgot how much I love my school. Not many people can say that they truly love their school and are looking forward to leaving home and coming back, but there is something about PC that you just fall in love with!

Day one of second semester is basically over and it went great! This semester I have Civ of course, Biblical Theology, British Literature and Educational Psychology! I am looking forward to reuniting with all my friends again and getting into my routine, I will keep updating as much as possible!

Again if you leave any comments I will respond on the comment section on the post that you commented on! Keep the questions coming, I love to answer them!

Hey Hannah!
My name is Imani and I applied to PC for EA and got accepted! I have a few questions?
1. What was the transition like?
2. What are the students like?
3. What is one thing that when you got to PC you wished you had brought?

~Imani

Hi Imani,

The transition to PC was a lot less scary than I thought it would be. When I got here I was worried about making friends, eating alone, finding my classes and keeping up with the homework..but to be honest as scary as you think it will be, it's not. After a week or so you will get in the grove of things, try groups that are offered around campus and meet friendly people.

As far as the students go, I have honestly never met nicer people in my life. I did not exactly have a lot of close friends in high school, but once I got here I couldn't believe how many awesome people were here. Yes I have my close knit group of friends here, but I also know a ton of other people just over one semester that I will say Hi to if I see them or go and hang out with every once in while.

Hmm.. one thing that I wish I had brought to PC when I first got here was some sort of shelf to put all my books in. Especially because for Civ you have 12 or so books depending on the team you are on and you need somewhere to put all of them. Right now I have a make-shift shelf, hopefully I will get one soon!

GREAT QUESTIONS! Let me know if you have another others!
