Four Day Week!
This weekend I headed back to Blackstone to spend sometime with my family and friends. I had a great Valentine's Day, got to watch my sister play basketball for our high school team and all that funstuff. Unfortunately because I was so busy enjoying my time at home, I did not necessarily get a lot accomplished as far as school work goes, but it got done nonetheless.
I just finished filling out my Resident Assistant application. It is definately a living arrangement that I am considering for next year and it would look great on my resume, but my friends and I have not discussed rooming yet so we will just have to wait and see.
This coming weekend my friend Ashley from home is coming to spend the weekend with me and we are going to the PC vs. Notre Dame game which will be a blast! Oh, and Sunday BOP is sponsoring a trip to see the production STOMP in Providence and a few of my friends and I are going - good weekend ahead! In other news I have two papers due, one tomorrow and one on Thursday, so looks like I need to get busy!
Keep the questions coming!

Hey Hannah, I had a few general questions about PC and was hoping you'd be able to answer them! I go to school in CT (junior in HS- beginning my collge searches!) and live only about an hour away from the campus, unfortunately I haven't had the time to schedule a visit yet. I was really interested to know about how much the Catholic-Dominican life plays up on campus. I was wondering if students are really really active with their faith on campus? I have always had an interest in coming to PC but I've been nervous about whether I'd fit in because I am not strongly tied with my church or faith. It would be great to hear your honest opinion about the spirtual life on campus and the precent of students that are really focused and live devoted to religion, only because I would be nervous not knowing where I would fall. Thank you!

Hi Megan,
That is really a great question you asked regarding faith here on the PC campus. I have to say that I am Catholic however, not as devout as many. I was in the same boat as you, I didn't know how faith oriented the campus would be, or if I would even like being at a Catholic School, but I have to say that I am glad that I am here. There are students who are super involved in campus minstry, lectoring at masses, volunteering in the various programs that campus ministry sponsors, however the Catholic faith is by no means forced upon anyone. I have many friends here who are not Catholic and some still even go to church every weekend.
So Megan, from the experience that I have gathered here at PC so far, your faith is what you make of it here. If you want it to be a part of your college experience it very well can, but please do not make it a reason not to come to PC because it is not pressuring and nobody feels out of place if they are not Catholic. We have a great welcoming environment here and hopefully you come to schedule a visit sometime!
Hope this helped!
-Hannah
