Superbowl Sunday

So the second weekend back at PC was a success.

Friday night I headed out to the PC vs. BC hockey game with a few of my friends. The arena was packed, the game sold out and the atmosphere was so intense! We ended up tying BC 2-2 which was great and overall a great night!

Saturday night we got a bunch of girls to go out to dinner at unos, it was nice to get off campus for a change and eat out. Although it was freezing cold, we had a blast and then had a movie night!

Tonight is SUPERBOWL SUNDAY and as I type we are having a little bash in my room with chips&dip, shirley temples, brownies and you name it, while of course everyone is doing their homework!

There is my weekend in a recap, here is to another stressful week ahead!

hey Hannah, I'm just a junior, so i have a little bit of time, but the whole college search is still stressing me out nonetheless lol. What made you pick Providence? In regard to size, do you think the 4,000 students is too many at times, or too few? What are the classes like, and do you know anything about the Honors Program? Because Providence just sent me a letter about it, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little confused. Thanks!

Hi Courtney!

Why did I pick PC? Well when it came time that I was beginning to receive my decision letters back, I found myself only caring about whether I got into Providence or not and I think that is basically how I knew where I belonged. I had come to PC for a few tours and stuff and really could find no reason why I could not be happy there, I just got that feeling.

As far as the size goes, 4000 undergrad, for me is perfect. I came from a high school of about 600, so I did not want to get lost in a big school, but I didn't want to go to an overally small one either and I feel like PC was a perfect mix for me. It is small but with DIV. I athletics.

As far as classes go, you take 4 classes your freshman and and sophomore years and some of my friends are in the honors program, and it is a lot of work of course, but worth it.

But do not worry, you have time! Halfway through my senior year I still did not know where I wanted to go! Goodluck and if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask!
