My Last Entry

Well, as you all might already know, today is my LAST DAY OF COLLEGE. At 12:30 p.m., I will take my final American Musical Theatre exam, and then I will be done with classes. However, the work is not completely over today. I do have two exams next week, but after that I am completely done. The feeling of it all is extremely surreal. There is so much going on all at once. I am feeling very overwhelmed to say the least. I am sad for college to be coming to an end, but I look forward to the next stage of my life. I have no definite plans yet, but there are several opportunities I am pursuing.

This afternoon will be fun. We have a “Done with College” barbeque, and it looks as though the weather will be nice for it. Then, after exam week, we have a week of Commencement activities, which I am so excited about! The Commencement activities are spread out over three days. On the first day, we have a club night. On the second day, we have an all day event. And, on the third day, we have a formal night. A few days after that we graduate…

Well, along with it being my last day of school, it is also my last day at my internship. So this will be my last blog. I want to thank all of you for reading my blogs each week, and for the comments you all have posted. I wish you all the best of luck in your time here at Providence College. Enjoy your four years. They go by very fast.

A Tribute to City Heroic

Last night, my friends and I went to watch our friends’ band, City Heroic, play in McPhail’s for the last time. As I mentioned in one of my previous blogs, McPhail’s is the entertainment center on-campus. Throughout the year, several bands play in McPhail’s. City Heroic has played numerous times in McPhail’s, performing cover songs for several different bands. One of my favorites is “Burn This City” by Cartel. It really gets the crowd going, and last night the crowd was extremely energetic. My friends and I always have a great time singing along and dancing. And most of the time, towards the end of the night, you can find several of my friends up on stage. We have seen City Heroic perform countless times now, and most of us know all of the songs by heart. Thank you for all of the great memories City Heroic.
