The Laundry Room

I have developed a serious love of the laundry room. Yesterday my friend Jenessa was going to do her laundry and do homework so I said that I would go with her. I love doing homework in the laundry room. It's just great. It's not deathly quiet like in the library, but there is usually no one in there except going in and out to get laundry. There's just enough noise and it's warm and it smells nice. It's wonderful. Really, it is.

Thursday was my roommate Steph's birthday, so my other roommate Whitney and I woke up bright and early (7:15) to head to the bakery in the Alumni Food Court in Slavin to buy a cake to surprise Steph. They even wrote "Happy Birthday Steph" on it! We brought the cake in and sang to her while she was getting ready. I love birthdays!

Today was also a busy day. Some friends from home came up for the day to visit my friend Mark so I spent some time with them, but I also had so much work to do. And I'm still not done! I also had a meeting for the Honors trip to Europe and now I'm even more excited than ever! It's only 103 days away! (No, I didn't count out the days myself...that's what a countdown on the computer is for!)

Tomorrow is Mark's 19th birthday so I will definitely have to set aside some time for him!

Wednesday I have an interview with the Writing Center to become a writing tutor. I'm really excited about it. I will probably be hired for next year, but it's also possible that it might be next semester because of demand. We'll have to see how it goes!

That's it for now...I still have so much work to do!
