Wonderful Wednesday

It has been a delightful day. I finally got the bulk of my work done, all my papers passed in, and all my exams taken...for this week, at least.

Monday was Mark's birthday! I unfortunately didn't even see him. But I spent my night in Guzman Hall with people in my sociology class studying. I hadn't seen my friend Andrew in a while and he happened to walk by, so it was a pleasant surprise to see him!

Yesterday was such a long day, which started with an 8:30 sociology exam and ended with an Honors civ seminar from 2:30 - 4:20. Yuck. But I survived thanks to my viewing of HOUSE, perhaps the greatest show on television, with a few friends.

Today was an excellent day. All semester, I've been working to get a good grade on my English papers. Each time, I got a little better grade. And today, I finally received my A! I also had an interview at the Writing Center today! It went so well! I really hope I get the job. They don't usually hire freshman, but I come highly recommended by my sister (she's a math tutor) and they are in need. So I'm hoping for the best. I should hear by the end of the week, and I'll be sure to share the news!

And one final note before I go: Happy Birthday, Anna!
