Students Make a Difference

A lot has been going on around PC lately. And students are getting involved! Recently the janitorial services have been petitioning for better wages. PC students rallied for them just the other day and there will be picket lines tomorrow. Some classes are even being canceled. My genes and gender class is even being moved off campus! Tomorrow should be interesting, that's for sure.

In other news, I've been feeling very proud of myself lately. I've been going to the gym every day and relaxing a bit more this semester. Last semester, I was ahead in nearly all of my classes by a few days, so this semester I've decided to not kill myself so much and just enjoy the ride. And it's true: exercising really does put you in a better mood, and so does setting aside time for yourself! Classes have been much more intense, but somehow I'm not as stressed...even with a new job on the table! I guess it's all in how I use the time I have. Tip for freshmen: prioritize and manage your time to allow yourself the pleasure of relaxation/the time for things you want to do.
