Welcome Back, Welcome Back, Welcome Back
So, I'm already back here at Providence College. The break was a month long but it still felt short. But at the same time, I'm so glad to be back, even though it means back to work.
This semester I am taking Genes & Gender, Honors Civ, New Testament - Literature and Theology, and Post-Colonial Theory and Literature. It's an intense schedule so far. I think lit will be my hardest course, as it has the most reading and the most work due. I have two 3 - 4 page papers, a presentation, and a 10 - 12 page research paper. I only have one paper for theo, 4 papers for civ, and I can't even remember how many, if any, for GG.
I'm excited that we have two 4-day weeks in a row, because classes started Tuesday of this week, and next week we have Monday off for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
I'm already busy with a jam-packed schedule. I have to do work of course, there's a floor meeting tonight, and then on Friday from 2:30 - 6 is the tutoring meeting (and I'm very nervous/excited about that). I'm also trying to fit in going to the gym more often this semester. I guess it's everyone's New Year's Resolution because I've already heard the gym is filled to the brim. We'll see what happens.
Best of luck with midyear exams and the never-ending flow college acceptances!
