Quite the Week

Sorry to be so behind on blogging, but it's just been a fantastically busy week! I've had tutoring meetings, papers due, etc... But, despite all the work, there have been a lot of fun activities going on around here.
On Thursday, it was International Food Fest, where local restaurants serve their food for only $3 a plate. I tried a lot of really good things I never would have even thought of having if it weren't for food fest!

Friday was great because it was BOP's (Board of Programmers) Spring Concert. Braddigan (one of the guys from Dispatch) and the Roots (an instrumental hip-hop band) came to Schneider Arena and it was a blast! I managed to get really close so that was cool.

Saturday was Family Day here, but I was at the NEPTA (New England Peer Tutoring Association) conference in Dudley, MA at Nichols College. It's basically a series of workshops on tutoring stuff. It was a fun bonding experience and overall pretty helpful, especially being a new tutor and all. I got back just as my friend from home Melissa was finishing up her stay at Family Day, so it was great to see her for a little while! I hope she comes here!

And now I'm back to the grind, with a ton of work to do at that. I'm off to either the social lounge or the library...haven't quite decided yet!
