Hope Everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving

Hope everyone had an excellent Thanksgiving! Here at PC, we enjoyed a break from Tuesday until Sunday afternoon. For those of you that have been paying attention, Tuesday is my hectic day, so it was nice to go home for a while and get some time off after my 2:30 Philosophy Class.

In case you're curious, I spent Thanksgiving at home with my parents and my brother Mark in New Canaan, as we have for the past couple years--those of you that have yet to go away from home for too long, trust me nothing beats your Mom's home cooking on Thanksgiving after being away! My brother and I also went to go see the new James Bond movie, "Quantum of Solace," which I thoroughly enjoyed--if you liked Casino Royale I'd recommend it. Friday and Saturday I saw my good group of friends and got to play Rock Band on the Playstation 3 for the first time--if you haven't checked it out I heartily recommend it, and I'm doing my best to find someone with it in the dorm, as it's great to get 4 people together for it.

As for this week, I'm looking forward to a Lit Paper due on Friday, a Philosophy paper due Sunday evening, and my first Civ exam on Monday--I've heard good things about the PC "Civ Scream" that happens before the test, so I'll let everyone know how that goes! Other than that, I am one of the actors for my friends self-written/directed show "Original Rose" for his Production Class Project in the Theater Department--that's on Friday in the afternoon, and then I'm off for the end-of-Semester banquet for the Cowl Newspaper staff, which should be fun.
Also, the fact that it's my 19th birthday on the 5th is putting me in an extra-chipper mood!

All in all, definitely a busy week before Finals, but well worth it for the time I get to spend with my friends before Christmas break. Hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving, and congratulations to those of you who got acceptance letters from some schools over the break--hopefully Providence College was among them! If not, just wait--the next few months will fly by before they come!

I visited PC the other weekend and I believe I saw you in Slavin doing your radio show. I was like, "oh i know him! he's a blogger!"

Oh and happy early birthday! :]
