Job searching is not specified or broken down by major. One of the major differences is when you search for a job the job may be different across certain industries. Marketing can be found everywhere, the hospitality industry, education, retail, and etc. With this in mind one of the nice things about being a marketing major is that the marketing major offers a broad range of jobs that I can get into and have many different experiences. As marketing major you can find jobs in sales and research, logistics, etc. I think that I want to work in the Information Technology sectors as a database analyst for direct marketing database. I know that would not be my first job out of college, but now I am looking for a career path I will lead me in this direction. In the end, I am keeping an open mind and trying to gain the experience I need to advance in this career.
Until next time….
