DEAD WEEK!!!
Hi everyone! I haven't had time to write last week so I am taking a break from all my heavy work and updating you on whats been going on. I hope everyone had a great Turkey Day! Mine was good and it was nice to spend time with my family and see family friends. Even though our Thanksgiving break was great, it was probably during the worst time ever because right when we get back its DEAD week (the week before finals) and this is when EVERYTHING, yes I mean EVERYTHING is due (projects, assignments, etc, etc, etc). For those who don't know what dead week is, like I said it is the week before finals and its the most hectic week of the semester. Professors aren't allowed to give any exams or anything so that's why they call it dead week. Sounds crazy, but it is such a hectic week. I have so many projects due and studying its insane! Also, trying to figure out all of this study abroad stuff is also driving me nuts so now I understand the total meaning of dead week after being here for 2 and a half years haha!
The weekend before Thanksgiving break was the Royal Ball and it was so much fun! I went with my roommates and my date Rob! He's a friend from my Judo class and since he never went to the Royal Ball before (neither did I) I decided to take him along. It was a lot of fun and we danced all night! I never knew how popular the Royal Ball would be because tickets sold out after a day and a half. Crazy! Luckily I got 2 tickets and was able to go. Below is a picture of me and my date Rob. We don't exactly match too well, but that doesn't matter!
Other than the Royal Ball and Dead week I've been counting down the days til I leave for Singapore! Now its 1 month and 3 days til I leave and I am soooooo excited but really nervous at the same time. I'm really happy that I have family in Singapore so they are going to pick me up and take care of me for a day when I get there (since I'm going to get there at night). I can't wait to see my family and spend some more time with them, but also I'm really excited for the experience at the National University of Singapore because it is one of the best universities in the world. The education is going to be a once in a lifetime experience and you will defiantly see many pictures in the next few months!
Well I have to get back to do some work, but leave some comments! I love feedback and if you have any questions I will be more than happy to answer them. Stay warm and to my fellow classmates - its almost over! Take care everyone!
