There's a First Time for Everything...

There's nothing like the first time you start something new. Take today, it was full of firsts. For instance, this is my first blog, I tried the peppermint tea in the 2nd floor Caf for the first time(which I now have to make part of my morning routine mmm.....), and I gave my first Microeconomics presentation. It almost seems weird to have all these firsts so late in the semester, but it's still the first semester of my college experience, so I guess it fits.
Those were all measly firsts compared to my first time registering for classes the other week. Now that I can look back on it I can laugh, but, boy, at the time it was no laughing matter. Looking up classes, dealing with requirements, and fitting them all into a normal schedule, was like a jigsaw puzzle. And just when I thought I had the perfect schedule all set, a class closed, and I had to start the process all over! But it's really rather painless, like when you get a shot at the doctors. When it was done I sat at my computer saying, "That was it?" Well, it may have helped that the patron saint of registration times loves me, since I got the earliest time possible, but I like to think it was just my pro registering skills.
Oh how could I forget? I got my first Hollister paycheck the other day, too! Learning how to juggle work and school has been a little tricky, and I won't lie, I've had some late nights because of it, but I've been managing. The one thing that has suffered is the time I get to spend at the gym, since I'm usually too tired when I get back from work, but I like to think the walk to Steamtown Mall makes up for it.
Today, thankfully, I don't have work so it's off to the gym! ....Right after I finish my English and Math assignments, of course.
Toodles!
