Campus Life

Good, so far.

I may have been a bit hasty in my wanting to go on break. This semester is not going bad (so far). I have time to get my work, homework, and social events in. Though, I could always use more! Recruitment is next week, and I am not looking forward to the long days. This is definitely a downside to living off campus, but there are people here at Saint Leo who like me a little and let me stay on late nights. Very sweet of them =)

As for my longing for spring break, it is still there. Though, I am bummed because Josh and I decided to forgo a spring break trip. Figures, our spring breaks are one week apart. We really considered it at first, but when we looked at ticket prices- it was a NO. It seems like I can't get a break from airlines anymore. All the free ticket seats are gone, and the really good sales that are happening don't apply to Florida because it is pretty much the Spring Break haven. Not cool. Can I buy my own plane now?
Here is one of my photographs from photography class for you to enjoy: my cat tiger ;)

Oh Valentine's Day

So, February has been a blur. Formal recruitment went well, and Tri Sigma welcomed in a new sister. Class work has been alright, but there are some times I just want to scream! I am sure others will agree! I am getting very excited for the Quiz Bowl competition up in Jacksonville Feb. 22-24. This is my favorite extracurricular here at Saint Leo. I have always loved trivia, and this is the place to let everything out! We had a blast last year, and it can only get better.

Currently, I am looking for an internship for the Fall of '09. Before, I thought I wanted to be a high school English teacher and possibly move up to professor, but after a rude awakening I realized teaching is not for me. Now, I am thinking about being an editor of some sort. But, we'll see where the future takes me.

For Valentine's day, Josh bought me a Sweeney Todd soundtrack (I loved the movie!), and I got him a Batman comic book he had his eye on. We are not too big on Valentine's day, but we always get each other a little gift, candy, or flowers.

Well, now I am just researching for a paper that is not due until April. I figure if I start now, I won't procrastinate too much. Maybe I can try tomorrow =) ha ha.
