Orientation was AWESOME!!! One of my dearest friends flew to Florida to help us unpack. However, we were delighted that so many student organizations assisted us with the unloading process (especially carrying everything up TWO flights of stairs). Although we were very prepared, we still had to make two extra trips to Wal-mart, for additional supplies. Grayce settled in very quickly, and was anxious to go to all the activities planned by SLU. Grayce and I said our good-byes (with a little heartfelt emotion) and I went back to the hotel to get some much needed rest. The next morning, I made the seven hour drive back to Georgia.

During the summer of this year, I was preparing to send my first child off to college. Surprisingly, we did not experience the dreaded separation anxiety. Grayce was well prepared for the transition (since her junior year of high school) and was very excited about going to school out of state. We made numerous trips to the campus, and we absolutely love everything that Saint Leo University has to offer.
