Sudden Pet Aquisition! :D

I'm not quite sure where the week went! I had meant to talk to you on Wednesday, but now it's Saturday and I'm only just getting around to it!

I now have two fish, which two different people got from the Fish Wish event on campus that I did not go to. One of them had some sort of sickness when it was won, so it was named Chemo. When I showed the second one to my roommate, before she even knew about the first one, she took one look at it and said "Nemo!" So as a result, I now have two goldfish which I did not name. I changed the water in their bowls a few days ago, and now Chemo is all better, so people are now calling him "the Jesus-fish," but I'll wait and see if that actually catches on, or if its name will remain Chemo.

I'm also getting two kittens in a few weeks! I picked them out today, but I don't know what to name them yet. But I'm intending on coming up with something unique!

They are four weeks old at the moment, and I had mom take some pics of them with my phone while I was holding them. The dark-colored one kept climbing up my shoulder and talking to me, and the orange one tried to crawl around in my arms and only talked a little bit. I didn't hold that one for as long as I did the first because their mother was getting nervous. She had seven kittens! And she's not that big a cat! Her sister is helping her nurse the kittens even though they aren't her cats, which actually happens fairly often with cats that live together as closely as they do. It has something to do with hormones, I'm told.

And yes, those are in fact engine parts in the background. They live at a mechanic's shop in Mass, and my dad works with the guy who owns it. There are also two other orange kittens, two gray tabby ones, and a dark gray one, but these are the two I want.

I think I've procrastinated enough for now, so have a great week!

Until next time,

Is it really Monday?

I don't know about you, but I'm finding it a very difficult thing to accept. I'm pretty sure that today is actually Saturday, but someone forgot to tell me. I never blogged last week because I was incredibly busy, and I should be studying for a test I have today instead of writing to you, but I need a break. So I'll tell you a little bit about last week.

I came back from spring break on Sunday, and almost had ice cream over in Winnisquam. Except that it was all either chocolate or caramel, and neither taste good. Yes, you read that right. I do not like chocolate, and I do not like caramel. Or peanut butter, for that matter. When people complain that I don't like them, I just tell them not to complain because it leaves more for them to eat! Makes sense to me, at least...

Monday I spent doing the homework I didn't finish, although I did do a small amount over vacation... only because it was due Monday and I didn't feel like doing it Sunday. The rest of the week was a blur. I did work, I did lots of creative writing club stuff, had a book club meeting and a creative writing club meeting, etc. etc. Then, on Saturday, I sat at the creative writing club booth at accepted students' day, and went home to help my dad move a bunch of boxes and furniture into his house. On Sunday, I went to the Transition Summit, where I learned about a few things that the creative writing club needs to do in order to be a club next year.

In conclusion, it’s been a busy week, and today should be Saturday. Because then I could sleep instead of take a test I forgot about until yesterday. It's amazing how much stuff suddenly appears that needs to be done just before summer.

Hope your week was less hectic!
Have a great week.
