Hectic Semester

As the semester winds on it is hard to keep up with everything you wanted to. Weather it is going to the gym every day or eating healthier, it is continually harder to keep up with it. I seem to fall into a rut of sorts when it comes to myself. I strive for the best in everything that I do but do not spend enough time on myself.

So in order to change this degenerating pattern of neglect I have devised a set schedule. It keep my life on track while still making time for myself. It works time into everyday that I have to be in the gym and time that I have to eat lunch. My biggest issue is that I do not have a schedule for eating or sleeping so my body is continually hungry and always sleep deprived. However, this will all be rectified with this new schedule.

That’s what college is all about, finding your balance. For years my balance was all work, little play, and very little sleep. This is a bad rut. My new pattern and balance will be half work, a quarter play, and a quarter sleep. This will allow me some time for myself as will as keeping my social standing as a fun guy.

I hope that this “new years resolution� of sorts will help me stay on track and doing well.
