First Easter in NH!
"One day can change your life. One day can ruin your life. All life is is three or four big days that change everything"
Ok so before i start my post, I watched a movie last night that was really good. It's called Riding in Cars with Boys. ![]()
Its kinda a chick flick so sorry guys, this advice is for the girls. It is a really cute movie and the quote above is taken from it. If you are sitting around looking for a good movie to rent, just thought i'd give you this option.
Well Hello again everyone!
So this past week was eventful to say the least. People say that if you work hard enough you will be rewarded. That is exactly what happened to me this past week. On Wednesday I was only supposed to have one class at 9:30am but that class got cancelled because my professor was out of town. I was so excited to have the day off. Then Thursday, I was supposed to have a busy day full of classes but we got hit with a bad snow storm and they closed the school and cancelled all classes. That was an extra bonus that made my week fabulously relaxing.
Friday night I hung out with the few friends that were left on campus because most of my friends went home for the Easter holiday.
Speaking of Easter...
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!
Since we had our spring break a week prior I couldn't go home for Easter. This was the first Easter my sister and I couldn't be home. It was sad but our friend Ashley's mom took us in (along with our other friends who couldn't go home for the holiday) and we had an amazing Easter at my friend Ashley's house with her mom and family. We even helped out with the decoration process. My sister (being a baking and pastry major and all) did most of the dessert making with Ashley![]()
, while my friend Rachel and I did the hard work--coloring eggs
.
Rachel didn't believe me that my eggs were better, but they totally were ;). ![]()
So anyway, now i'm back in school mode. Its time to buckle down and get all my final papers and projects complete because we only have about 4 weeks left. Its insane.
Word of Advice-- Don't take the college thing for granted. It goes by so fast you will be amazed. Enjoy your freshman year because you only get one and you want it to be the best it can possibly be. I know mine was.
Until next time...
"Have Fun... Be Good... and If you can't be Good... Be Careful". (a quote from the smartest woman I know--my mom)
Bye For Now,
Em ;)
