Whew... So much Work So Little Time!

I just watched my favorite movie of all time last night and it is still stuck in my head. Please if you want to check out a GREAT movie, rent V for Vendetta with Hugo Weaving and Natalie Portman! It is an amazing movie and you really should check it out!

Hello Again!!

I just wanted to say Thank You for everyone that came to our open house last Saturday (November 4th)! It was a great success and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves!

Well, let's see what is going on in my life since that last time we spoke... well... i'm.. really... really... busy!! Haha. It is funny, sometimes I feel like a broken record on this blog because all I talk about is being busy and having a lot of work to get done but I guess that is the nature of being a senior in college! Finals start December 14th and Thanksgiving Break is November 24-29 so that gives me about 20 days to finish up all of my homework, write 3 term papers, and do 2 final presentations! So yes.. I am freaking out a bit! I know I will get it all done. In my 4 years at SNHU, I have definitely discovered that I have some seriously awesome time management and organizational skills which usually help me around finals time. So wish me luck!!

It is also crazy to think that it is almost Thanksgiving! Time is flying by and honestly, if I can give you one piece of advice, it would be to treasure your time in college. Do not take anything for granted! I know when you come in as a Freshman, you will think you will be in college forever; however, that is not really how it works (unless you are Van Wilder, and trust me, don't aspire to be Van Wilder!!). The time in college, no matter where you decide to attend, flies by. I remember my first day freshman year like it was literally yesterday! Ok well now that I am getting all teary-eyed even typing about it being over, I will move on. :(

I need to get back to some homework! Talk to you all soon!

xoxo

Happy November!!!

So I am in a crazy Jack Johnson faze so here are some lyrics of a great and I mean great Jack Johnson song called Banana Pancakes! I thought these lyrics are poignant since we have had a ton of rain these past couple of weeks! Enjoy!

But baby, you hardly even notice
When I try to show you
this song It's meant to keep you
From doin' what you're supposed to
Like wakin' up too early
Maybe we could sleep in
I'll make you banana pancakes
Pretend like it's the weekend now

And we could pretend it all the time
Can't you see that it's just rainin'
There ain't no need to go outside

Hello again!

Happy November and Happy Belated Halloween! I hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween! I know I had a great time. My roommates and I got to dress up and hang out with friends. It is pretty sad because this is my last college Halloween :( . It is crazy that I am graduating this year. I have had the same great group of friends since Freshman Year (we all lived on the 1st floor of Washinton Hall)!!

Here is a picture of the crew:

Anyway, what else is going on in my life? Oh Yeah, Mid-terms were last week (woo hoo...not). They actually weren't soo bad. I am only taking four classes this semester because I managed my time wisely in the past four years (which I strongly recommend!! hint hint) so I get to have an "easy" senior year. Don't get me wrong the classes are still challenging but it is nice to only have to focus on four instead of five or six! I have recieved my Mid-term grades and they are all A's and B's which is a great start. I am going to work really hard to make them all A's by Finals so wish me luck!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that SNHU is having an Open House on Saturday November 7th and there are over 500 possible students expected to attend! That is amazing! If any of my readers are planning on attending, I am looking forward to seeing you there!!!!!

Well that's all for now!

Talk to you again soon!

Byez, Em xoxo
