Easter Sunday
Hey again or shalom if you feel like getting into the spirit of things =D.
It's almost Easter. A very interesting time of the year. And whether you are religious (like me :D) or not this is a good time to take a rest, spend some time with the family and eat food until you explode. Though who really needs an excuse for that, I ask you?
I truly love Easter. It's one of my favorite "holidays". In fact this time of the year (at least in my humble opinion) is like a second Christmas. Now, I know what you might be thinking "hey, wait, that makes no sense!" But just think about for a second. Take away the presents, the snow, the time off work and the peace-on-earth-and-good-will-towards-men it's basically the same day.
When you really get down to the heart of it Easter and Christmas are very similar in that they serve a far deeper purpose. I find that attitudes of the people I work with are more upbeat, and the general atmosphere is very positive.
Or at least that's what I notice. Maybe I'm way off base. Anything is technically possible, but I don't think I'm all that far off.
But I'm going to make this a short blog and leave you with a brief poem by Richard Le Gallienne
that is relevant to the season:
"Celestial spirit that doth roll
The heart's sepulchral stone away,
Be this our resurrection day,
The singing Easter of the soul -
O gentle Master of the Wise,"
Teach us to say: "I will arise."
Happy Easter. God bless.
James
