Resume O'Rama!!!
Hi again!
Its getting to be that time again. The time during the year where if you're dad isn't Billy Gates you better get yourself a full-time job! Or at least I do :).
I've just begun the application for my job of choice. It's a hassle, let me tell ya! The amount of time spent on these things and the number hoops that still require a degree of jumping is unbelievable. But I like to think of it as being for the greater good.
If your anything like me I imagine you don't like the application process... or maybe you do, but either way it is a necessary evil. I understand all the background checks, interviews, applications, calls, emails, follow-up letters, resumes, recommendations. Doesn't mean I have to like it though does it?!
Well that rant aside I am very excited for this new job. Since its applicable to my degree here at SNHU its like getting a decent return on investment. Exciting stuff. I mean who wants to pour money into something and get nothing out? No one that I know that's for sure!
In all seriousness, however, I am grateful for the opportunity to pursue a job. With the economy being what it is a job period is a piece of good luck.
Either way, whether your pursuing a job or sitting on your parents couch for another summer good luck to you all and talk to you next week.
James
