HELLOOOO!! =]

Hey all!

This is officially my first spring break and officially my first blog post! This semester has legit – no lie – FLOWN BY. It feels like I was just moving in yesterday. It blows my mind!

Let me start off by telling you a little about myself. I’m from a small town in Massachusetts called Dracut (right next to Lowell and about a half hour from Boston). I live with my mom, Cheryl, my stepdad, Mark, my older brother, Kyle, and my rottweiler, Nikki (a rotty I know, but she is the sweetest, most gentle rotty you will ever meet – the love of my life.) I also have a half-sister, Leddy, and a half-brother, Liam (their mother was really into Irish names =].) They live with their mother in Chelmsford, MA (on the other side of Lowell) and I really wish I could see them way more than I actually do.

I am still obsessed with the Backstreet Boys – they will always have my heart. I have been a diehard fan since they came out, and that will never change (I’m actually listening to them right now.) I also love love love Eminem and Nickelback. I went to a Nickelback in the summer of 2007 and it was the absolute best concert I’ve ever been to! I know it’s cliché but I’m also in love with Britney Spears – she’s amazing. I tried getting tickets to her Circus Tour, but they sold out in seconds (I was very disappointed ). Kanye West is also on my favorite list, as well as The Fray, Gym Class Heroes, Kate Voegele, Lil’ Wayne and so many more! I have such a wide range of music.

I tend to watch a lot of TV – a whole lot more than I should. I have a weakness for the reality shows on VH1 and MTV, even though I know they’re scripted. I watch a lot of movies too, and subsequently tend to quote them, all the time. I think the strangest thing is that I was obsessed with the movie Death Becomes Her – when I was like seven. For those of you who have never heard of it, it’s a strange movie with a very young Bruce Willis, Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn – a movie that a seven year old should not be obsessed with. IMDB it – you’ll think I’m crazy. I will admit, I was a strange child.

I want to tell you a little about my life at SNHU. My roommate Laura is also a 3Year and I love her to death. We met at orientation and immediately clicked. We live in Washington, get along with everyone on our floor, and have so many inside jokes it’s ridiculous. She loves movies more than I do and quotes them a thousand times more than I do. Next year, we’ll be living in Windsor on Eastside with four other girls. There will me and Laura, my best friends Ashley and her roommate Samantha (another 3Year), Becky (yet another 3Year), and Mikala (a culinary major who promises to bring back the goodies she makes =]). I CANNOT WAIT to move in next year – it is going to be so much fun! I know you’re thinking that I’m crazy for being excited to live with five other girls, but we are really close already. Laura and Becky will be in one room, me and Ashley will be in the other double, Samantha has her own single and Mikala does too. We have a lot of great people living on our floor also, so it will be such a fun time!

I don’t want to tell you everything on my first blog, so I’m gonna stop now. Until next time =]!
