11 AM
Day ten has begun of this horrible tragedy. Yes, the broken screen on my computer. The good thing that has come out of this, I have been doing assignments early because the computer lab in Robert Frost closes at 12am.
Luckily I didn’t have to do anything last night because I have no classes on Tuesdays. It was also odd how I really had nothing to do today because I didn’t have to work. It was just nice to sleep in late. I’ve been doing so much lately that I haven’t had time to really just relax. I finally got that day today.
Gym Class Heroes played a concert at SNHU on Sunday. It was the Major Concert of the year. I didn’t end up going because my loyalty to the Sox trumps everything (4 straight home runs…impressive). I heard the concert was good though. Every year SNHU gets one major concert which is done by CAPE.
Because of the size of CAPE, they do so many things. In a little while, I am going to be helping out with wax hands which is an event being held by the Special Events CAPE Committee. I honestly don’t know much about it; just that you have an imprint of your hand as a wax sculpture. I don’t understand the whole deal with hands being covered in wax and all. Maybe it’s just me.
And the Special Events Committee will also be having dippin dots tomorrow in the Pub. It’s that crazy circular kind of ice cream that’s becoming more and more popular every year. My first experience with these wonderful things was when I was in Florida a few years back. I’m glad they are making their way up to New England finally.
On Thursday, there is going to be yet another concert, this one being held by Radio SNHU. It is One Night Stand and there will be two different bands being played. As being the future secretary of Radio SNHU, I will be attending this event…wait, the Sox are playing Thursday night I think. Well, I’ll have to think about that.
I can’t believe all the massive amounts of work that needs to be done between now and the end of the year. I have no fear that it’ll all get done but it just isn’t fun being bombarded by school work all at once. Maybe I should have done some of that today rather than just relaxing.
I learned something new today… Jerry Springer is still on tv. I was shocked today when I was flipping through the channels and I heard the chant. JERRY, JERRY, JERRY. I thought that show was done a long time ago.
Besides Jerry, the weather here has taken a huge turn. Instead of being 40 degrees out, the past three days or so, it’s been 80 degrees. The only thing that is bad about this is that if this continues, I need to do laundry about every other day because I only have two pairs of shorts at school. I haven’t been home since break and since it was so cold at break, I neglected the fact that I will need shorts at one point. It is nice though to walk to class and don’t have to worry about snow.
