Changes

So to start things off, I switched my major the other day because I realized I don’t want to be a communication major anymore. I am now with the Sports Management people mainly because it is all I know how to do. From as long as I can remember I’ve been working in sports. From volunteering doing the scoreboard to what I currently do now during the summer which is run the Restaurant Softball League and this summer, I will be taking on the Men’s softball league also (This was probably a run on sentence but I’m not a Com major anymore so just go with it).

And I know I haven’t done a new post since I came back to school two weeks ago but I’ve been really busy. The MLB tournament is up and running and will be going into the end of the month which the Video Gaming Club is holding.

This Thursday we will also be holding a Game Night in the Pub from 7pm-10pm. And I’ve been doing so much work lately with school and my job for Athletics.
I was going to write a post up last night but well my computer screen broke. Yes that’s right, I dropped it one too many times and it revolted. Three huge black marks on it which hinders my ability to use my computer. I still don’t know what I am going to do about it.

This Saturday I have a busy day because I will be at the Tournament that the VGC will be holding. It’s a NHL Tournament from 11am-7pm but I will have to leave to go to the Manchester Wolves game, Arena Football League 2, which I will be interning with. Luckily, I have some great members in the VGC who can help me out and run the tournament.

Right now I am in the computer lab in Robert Frost which is an excellent place especially if you have an unactive computer like I do. It is like a back up system if your computer is malfunctioning and is open a long time. And if this was ever closed, I could always head over to the Library which seems to always be open except Friday and Saturday night…for obvious reasons.

Today, I went paint balling. That probably isn’t a word but for this purpose I am making it. Yes it was about 30 degrees out and snowing but well I paid 10 dollars to go do this and it was so worth it. The only bad thing was that it began at 10am.

I never had been paint balling before and well it was quite an interesting time. For just 10 dollars, you received a helmet, a paintball gun, and 500 paintballs. The course was packed with snow and ice and was very cold but it was so fun being out there all day doing something I don’t get to do often. C.A.P.E. ran this event and I must say, this is something I definitely would do again.
