I'm Back

So, as Manny Ramirez said a few weeks ago in his press conference, “I’m back.” Yes that’s right, the SNHU Admission blogs are back up and running.

I am currently on Spring Break but it doesn’t feel like it due to my constant schedule.

For starters, I had to stay at school until last night (Sunday) because I was working. The work wasn’t strenuous in any sense but the hours got to me; a total of 24 hours in two days. And after my 12 hour day on Sunday, I drove back home to Rhode Island which consumed 2.5 hours of my life.

After making it safely home, I decided I had to go to bed early so I would be ready for my interview on Monday (today). Due to an emergency that affected me, I didn’t find myself asleep until sometime near 2 AM and I was promptly woken up six hours later.

The interview was in Boston for a sports internship at WH-DH; which is Channel 7 for all you people who can get the NBC affiliate. Long story short, I got the position and couldn’t be happier. I will be doing many things with the production of the sports segments for the news. It will be a new experience for me but I can’t wait to get it started. The only down side is that it won’t start until August.

You might be thinking, “At least he gets the rest of his spring break to relax.” In a sense you are right however for me, you are very wrong. Instead of staying at home and being a bum or going on a crazy vacation like most college students do on Spring Break, I will be volunteering in Boston (I assume everything just revolves around that city) for the NCAA East Regionals for the March Madness tournament. I will be apart of the Media Coordination team which will be extremely awesome. Although it will be a great experience, by the time Sunday rolls around, I will be begging for a week off only to realize that I have to attend three classes on Monday. And I bet I have massive amounts of work due that day too.

Well until next time my Blogger Faithful (sorry, I’ll never use that lingo again). I honestly don’t know where that came from; I guess 12:00 in the morning is getting to me.
