Hello again...

Hello again, my name is Brandon Blum and I am a student apart of the Class of 2011 at Saint Peter’s College. I’ve come to SPC from Peoria, AZ to study Economics and Accounting in the proximity to the opportunities of New York City. I am also a member of SPC Swimming and Diving Team as that is what originally brought me to SPC. Since coming to SPC I have also become involved in Student Senate and Pavo Society. I really enjoy being here at SPC, coming from a regular suburb outside of Phoenix; it was a definite change in culture and pace. I have been able to make from friends from all across the U.S. and world. In fact my roommates next year will be from California, Nepal, and New Jersey. For those of you who didn’t see my post in Andrea’s Blog I will be going to China in the next few days as a part of a course offered here at SPC. This is a very exciting opportunity especially in part that I am only a freshman. I will share more about that experience once I get back. So have a great Easter and Spring Break and stay tuned for more of my story here at SPC.

Hello all! My name is Brandon Blum. I'm a current freshman at St. Peter's College and have come to SPC all the way from Peoria, Arizona to studying Accounting and Economics near the New York City area. I'm also a swimmer here at SPC as I also competed in high school. Coming to SPC I knew that I would be wanting to study abroad and after doing some research and thinking, I concluded that China would probably be a beneficial location for the use of my major. This is how I originally came about meeting Andrea as she shared her experience in Hong Kong with me. Not necessarily being a patient person, I searched what opportunities might be available to me as an underclassman to study abroad. I learned that SPC offers a number of study abroad courses, where each class willlgo and study abroad for a week during the semester. So this upcoming spring break I will be going to Beijing and Xian apart of a China Direct course... as a FRESHMAN! I will be spending my birthday in the Forbidden City!!

So that's a little insight to me and who I am, but I don't want to give you too much more on my story. So definitely look for my blog in the upcoming weeks.
