Hanging Out
So things have been going well. The weather is finally becoming nice outside as everybody is outside in the afternoons hanging out in the Quad and Jesuit Court. Cricket has become the unofficial hangout sport of the freshman dorms. The pool party that we threw last week for the school was a major success. We probably had a total of 150 people in and out of our pool. Campaigning for Student Senate re—election has gone well. Voting is currently going on this week so hopefully by Friday I know whether or not I’m on Senate again next year.
The past week was hectic between the party and school work, but all went well as planned. This upcoming weekend we got the Open House where I’ll be volunteering. I’ll also be heading out to my first Yankee game this week, as it is against the Red Sox! My friend Chris is on the tennis team here at SPC and they have their MAAC Championships so later this weekend I’ll probably be heading out to Queens to watch them play as well.
ISo, haven’t been home since I started school here at SPC, and now that the semester is beginning to come to a close I’m looking toward the end of the semester and going back home to spend some quality time with family and friends.
