Second Week
It's only the second week of school and I'm already swamped with homework, work, clubs, and other stuff. It seems like almost everyone's as busy too.
The good news is I've finally decided on a major-two, actually: English and History. I'm happy that I've finally made a decision of what I want to study but I know it's going to be a great deal of work. But the professors in the English and History department seem very friendly and supportive.
Wednesday I attended a couple of meetings-the first Student Senate meeting and McMullen rehearsal. There's a lot of cool events planned this semester, and I can't wait.
SPC had a big club fair on Thursday. I represented the Asian American Student Union. I'm on the E-Board this year and we're also planning a lot of events for it too. Our first meeting is on Monday, September 10 at noon in Dinneen 227. Anyone who's interested can come, and bring a friend! But there are a lot of clubs offered here at SPC and it's so easy to join them. It's a great way to have fun and meet people.
On Saturday I cleaned the apartment (my roommates and I finally came up with a cleaning schedule) and did a massive amount of homework. My cousins came over to visit and see my apartment-they only live about a half hour away and we went out to eat at this great sushi restaurant called East in Bergenfield. After that we drove to the city and picked up some delicious cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery. It's on the corner of Bleecker and 11th Street. They bake the best cupcakes I've ever tasted.
Today I had a strong urge to go to the beach. So I drove down with my friend Gary and we had an awesome time by the shore. I thought the water would be warmer, but it's still freezing-well, to me at least. But we went in the water anyway. So all in all, it was a fun weekend.
Gary and I at the beach.
Now I'm just prepping for the upcoming week busy with classes, work, meetings, and such. So until next time.....
