Okay. . . . . so it did snow
Well, I officially vow to never make fun of the snow. The weathermen were actually right! I'm definitely impressed. I was too scared to leave my room on Sunday as it had been snowing since Saturday afternoon and something about walking to the PATH train in a couple feet of snow sounded like no fun. Wait. . . . I did leave my apartment but then I was very scared and I had to come back. We didn't have class on Monday, and now the snow is quickly turning into slushy muck.
So yesterday was V-day. . . . and I wore pink shoes and a pink shirt!! I didn't do it on purpose. . . .so please don't judge me. Jamal and I are going out this weekend though because we are so busy during the week! I saw WAYYYYY to many pink shirts today and I ate WAYYY too much chocolate. Today at noon i grabbed lunch with some friends and then headed to the open forum at noon. This is where the deans, provosts, the president, and various other administrators of St. Peter's College answer questions from the students and professors. The improvements that were brought up at this meeting included the re-landscaping of the QUAD, new signs on our walking bridge, and the renovation of the Hudson Room (the caf). Students were able to voice their concerns and hope they will be taken into consideration when these administrators make decisions.
Tonight I am babysitting for a few hours in Brooklyn and then I will be studying for an International Marketing test that I have tomorrow. Today we had an interesting guest speaker in our Int'l Marketing class to speak to us about the challenges of doing business in Russia. I will probably be up very late. . . . tear. . . .tear.
