Life is . . . GOOD!

Alright, I finally am feeling a lot better after a week of being sick and I hope I never ever take it for granted that I am healthy again! This week consisted of lots of sleeping and catching up on work, but a few things did happen. Monday night was my second night class. I am taking poetry and drama at night, so my Mondays are busy from 8 AM til 9 PM. The class is going pretty good, there are a lot of non-traditional students . . . but it is difficult not to fall asleep becuase it feels like my bedtime! This Thursday was a scholarship dinner reception for students who received scholarships from private donors. I was Megan's "date" and lots of our friends were able to come as well so that made it extra fun. Of course you can tell by the picture that it was a dress-up affair and we are all looking our best!

Saturday was the Scholarship Brunch for students who have been offered academic scholarships. The families first met with advisors from all the departments in the theatre, then they listened to a couple different speakers while they ate brunch, and brunch was followed by campus tours! Pavo Society was on call to conduct the campus tours. Two of the speakers were our president, Fr. Loughran, and Dr. Lisa O'Neill. Dr. O'Neill informed students about the honors program, and after her speech a student panel was available to answer questions as well as to talk about their positive experiences here at Saint Peter's College.

All in all, the week was not too bad. My mom is coming to visit April 8th and I am counting down the days!
