Fall Fest and Homecoming
This weekend was filled with activities on campus! There were tons of activities going on all week. Friday night was Midnight Madness- a pep rally for the Saint Peter's athletic teams with a performance by the dance team in the gym. Also, two students had a chance to win $20,000 by making a basketball shot-which they missed. They would have had many new friends if they had won!
Saturday morning my roomate Andie and I got up bright and early and ran the Alumni 5k. Neither of us are long distance runners, but it was a good excuse to get out and exercise. I ended up getting first for the women so I got a free Tshirt. At 12 the Homecoming Football game started vs. the Duquesne University Dukes. The homecoming royalty was announced at halftime, and the final score of the game was 35-21, Duquesne. Here is a link to the details of the game:

I must admit, I didn't make it to the game because I was busy having a great time at the fall fest activities on campus. There was a BBQ, pumpkin painting, blow up carnival activities, and lots of other stuff on the lawn in front of the freshman dorms. Here is a picture of Tricia and I painting our pumpkins!

In the afternoon the cover band called the NERDS performed rock songs. . . . new and old. They were dressed up and they were a riot. The music was really good too but boy do they look like NERDS. Imagine that.
I had to work from 5-11 pm as a desk attendant (my work study job), but there were lots of other activities such as an ARGUS EYES DRAMA SOCIETY night and a dance party! Today (Sunday), I woke up bright and early to babysit at the church in the city where I work on Sundays and did a little grocery shopping on my way back. Now I need to get back to my homework. . . . . . .ciao!
