Girls' Night
Yes, I'm still here at Saint Peter's . . . . though you probably thought I fell of the edge of the world! I've been so busy that I haven't gotten a chance to write. I promise I will update you more frequently after this.
I haven't been bringing my camera around very much lately, but I do have a picture here of the girls-only virgin margarita night we had last friday. Pictured here are Priscilla, Jolie, Me, Megan, and Tricia in the front. You never get too old to stay up late watching chick flicks and talking about boys!!

This was my third week working for our food service company on campus, Sodexho, as an intern. I help out in the office with the bookeeping-type operations as well as any odds and ends they need help with. I never realized how much work it takes to run a business! I am working on getting credits for the internship to count towards graduation. My friend Brian works in the office as well, and he will probably show up in one of my blog pictures later. . . . if he is lucky :)
Last Tuesday we had our first Pavo Society meeting of the year. For those who don't know, the Pavo Society is a volunteer group of student ambassadors who give campus tours, help with admission events, and talk to prospective freshmen. On Thursday of last week we had an accounting society meeting in the library. A recruiter from the IRS came to talk to us about internship and job opportunities. We have speakers every two weeks from different firms. The meetings are great for networking and learning about getting a a summer internship!
I have been talking with my study abroad advisor, Dr. Virginia Bender, about my studying abroad next semester. So far everything is going as planned and the next thing I have to do is apply for my visa in a couple weeks. I can't believe I will already be in Hong Kong in less than 3 months! My stomach has butterflies. . . . .
Oh, one last thing before I sign off. You may have noticed in my blogs from last year that Jamal was in alot of the pictures but that will not be so this year. He was not able to attend SPC this year as he had planned . . . he is missed by all of his SPC friends!
