Tricia-Busy but fun Weekend…time to get back to work!
This weekend was lots fun!! Thursday night I went over to Megan’s apartment and had a great dinner that Nico and Megan cooked. We all hung out for a while, Megan, Jolie, Jenny and Pris, and eventually started talking about dresses. Later we all ended up in some type of dress running into my apartment so I could try on my formal dress. Marjory and Kelli had people over which is always a great time. More people showed up later to hang out (as we are all still in our dresses). Before I went to bed my voice started to sound funny. When I got up on Friday I couldn’t talk so I went to the campus doctor and it turns out I have laryngitis. Even though my voice was very raspy Meg and I went into the city to go shopping around Soho for dresses. Megs wanted a dress for formal and I wanted one for a wedding I am going to. Megan got a beautiful dress from Bloomingdales and I got a great one from H&M. Jolie came into the city and met us for dinner. Dinner was fabulous and I can’t remember the name of the restaurant since we were just walking around and picked it. We sat there for long time and just talked before heading back to school. Later I we over to Megan’s again and Jenny and I watched Marie Antoinette, which was very good but not what I had expected. Saturday morning all the Pavo’s were up nice and early for open house. The bad part was I could barely talk but other than that the day was great! There were tons of people there; lots of tours were given too. I basically hung out at the info both directing people with Matt and Peaches in the morning and Jenny in the afternoon. I could talk just enough to say a few sentences. When open house was over I tried to get to work on some of my homework but really didn’t get too far. Yet again I hung out with Megan Jolie Jenny and Pris when we went to see Godspell, the musical this year, since it was closing night. After that my throat really wasn’t feeling to well so I went back to my apartment to watch TV. I ended up talking to my brother on the phone for a long time which was nice and I sat out side for awhile watch some people play baseball. Sunday was very nice a quiet which was just what I needed. I barley talked to give my voice a rest all while watching the Phillies play and actually getting a lot of work done. I went to church with Megan and Jenny then went back to my apartment to find my roommate Marjory watching Sopranos with out neighbors from C-block and Alex the baseball player who lives upstairs and they all stayed to watch Entourage too!. Today was well just a Monday not to much happened just went to classes and gave a tour on my Pavo hour. The big thing I have this week is a practical exam for my Development Lab Class so hopefully this will give me lots of time to get started on some papers!
