Tricia-A little about me for starters

Hey everyone! I guess before I start telling about my day to day life you should know a little about me (it might help readers understand why I do the things I do most of the time…lol). So my name is Patricia but I go by Tricia. I come from South Jersey NJ and love it there with all my heart. I am junior but am going to be a senor very soon (and that scares me to death). I love biology a lot which is probably why it’s my major and no I do not want to go to med school. Hopefully I will one day become a Marine Biology (and someday own a bungalow on the beach!). I wouldn’t change why I came here for the world because I have met some great people here. It also doesn’t hurt that NYC it a hop away which means entertainment when ever you need it. Since being here I have become more adventurous and decided that I want to go to grad school somewhere north and move there. So at school I work in the bio department as a lab assistant and I love it! It helps me confirm the fact that I want to be a college professor. My all time favorite thing is hanging out watching movies or going out to the movies. In the summer going to the beach is absolutely key (what else do u expect from some one who grew up at the Jersey Shore?). I guess it really doesn’t take much for me to have a good time really just a few good friends and I am happy. I absolutely love to travel and if I have the chance to go pretty much any where I will probably go. I joined the Pavo Society over the winter and I like to joke and say that I did it because all my friends are in it (which is very much true) but in reality I did it because I really wanted to get active in my school instead of doing homework all the time. Talking about getting active I joined student senate this year too and I even ran for my senior year as well. Its almost the end of the year and I am getting ready for finals exams and writing up my final papers for the semester. The exciting thing for summer is that I have an internship. I am really happy about it too. It is in Stone Harbor NJ at the Wet Lands Institute. It is for their Coastal Conservation Research Program and I am going to be working with the turtles with catch and release as well as helping with rehabilitation. It should make for a great summer. I hope you all enjoy reading and learning about my timer here at school since you all get an inside look as my senior year as I get ready for my GRE and Grad School process.
